Fourteen years in the making, but it’s finally here! A Health and Wellness Ret
reat in fabulous Puerto Vallarta! This inaugural trip will be for the men only (sorry ladies 😞) so I can smooth out the details and figure out trip demand among other things. If you’re on my Insta, you know that I’ve teased the trip for the past week or two, but reservations are now LIVE! Here’s some information to help guide your decision-making process.
First off…
Tier 1 Early Bird pricing is now in effect! That means if you make your reservation now, you can take $150.00 off the total trip price which equates to a substantial savings! If you already know you’re going and don’t need to read any of this, head to the reservations page now! If you need (only a little) convincing, then read on…
Pack Light, Fly Smart: Your Puerto Vallarta Adventure Awaits
Alright, sunshine—let’s talk travel, your way. You book your own flights, and we take care of the other details. You’re here to be brilliant. For example, if you’re flying Volaris from TIJ (via CBX in San Diego) → PVR round-trip, Nov 9–16, with no checked bags… here’s the tea:
Flight Deets & Fees
- Round-trip fares are flirting in the $150-200 USD range right now—yes, all taxes included (expedia, travelocity for travel from TIJ via CBX to PVR).
- You’re on the Zero fare, which means: one personal item (that cute little under-seat companion) is included. A carry-on isn’t included, but you can purchase one during booking if you want. (Volaris, UpgradedPoints.com)
- Personally, I always fly Volaris from TIJ/CBX. It’s a bargain and convenient
So: Stay minimal. No checked bags, no drama. Remember, this trip is about no frills, basics, and minimalism.

Why That’s Genius
- You keep it lean and clean—no checked baggage fees, no waiting at the carousel. If you’re like me, you don’t mind sitting at the back of the “bus” because you don’t have to worry about picking bags up!
- You still control when you arrive, rack up those frequent flyer miles, and maybe even squeeze in an extra beach day or two. If you fall in love (or ARE in love) with the town, you can stay a little longer!
- We handle your Vallarta airport transfers, activities, and all those good vibes—your arrival is flexible and stress-free. We’ll have someone pick you up at the airport so you don’t need to worry about it!
Weather Forecast (silently fabulous this fall)
Daytime temps? Glorious mid-80s. Nights? Comfy 70s. Rain? Practically extinct. Just don’t forget that sunscreen—Vallarta’s sunshine doesn’t play (but lotion is cheap and everywhere). Whether it’s your first or return trip, it may get you thinking that life could be better elsewhere!
Packing List That Slays
My friends and even my cousin will agree that I’ve been overpacking for each of the six years straight I’ve been to Vallarta… but you? I know you’re smarter.
- Go minimal: tees, tanks, shorts, swimwear, good athletic kicks, flip-flops.
- Toiletries? Skip ‘em—you can grab everything there for less and find extra room for souvenirs and margaritas (kidding about the margaritas). If there are “must-haves” you can’t live without, by all means, bring them along. Otherwise, minimize your packing stress and get the rest for cheap in Vallarta.

Cliff Notes
So the basic lowdown… if you’re flying TIJ ↔ PVR roundtrip on Volaris, with no checked bags, expect ~$150–$200 total fare. One personal item included—carry-on optional (and fee-based if you add it). We’ve got the transfer, the retreat, the flexibility, the fabulousness. You just book it… and then show up ready to live a week in paradise doing yoga, working out, learning to eat healthy and inexpensive, hiking, and bonding with others who are on the same mission.
